Product Description The Mavic Ksyrium SL Disc Wheelset - Lightweight, stiff and durable The Mavic Ksyrium SL Center Lock Disc is a disc brake-compatible wheelset for ambitious road cyclists, whose development was very much focused on weight savings. It also scores with stiffness, driving dynamics and durability. The Ksyrium SL is based on 19 mm wide aluminium rims that can be ridden without a tube. This results in advantages such as more puncture resistance, less rolling resistance and an even lighter wheel. At the centre, hubs with self-aligning bearings and optimised spoke holes are fitted with 24 double butted straight pull spokes each at the front and rear. Special rim bed technology eliminates the need for tubeless rim tape. Infinity Hub Design Infinity hubs from Mavic allow contactless lacing, which prevents noise development under load. At the same time, this design is lighter, stiffer and easier to maintain. QRM Auto QRM Auto stands for Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto, and is the latest bearing innovation from Mavic. These cartridge bearings with C3 internal clearance are double sealed.
