This can decide who wins in a tight sprint to the finish. The Roval Rapide handlebar-stem unit also achieves top values in terms of light weight and stiffness. It weighs 50 grams less than the two-piece option mentioned above and impresses with extremely precise steering behaviour, made possible by its perfect carbon fibre layup and direct connection to the steerer tube.
