Bead to Bead Protection This technology consists of a cross-woven, high density (HD) protective ply that encases and protects the entire tyre carcass - tread centre and shoulders. As a result, the tread centre and shoulders are reinforced so that the tyre offers excellent puncture protection and long life. Michelin tyres equipped with Bead to Bead Protection are specially designed for demanding riders looking for the best possible compromise between puncture resistance, durability and weight. Pinch Protection Pinch Protection is a reinforcement in the bead area to reduce the effects of bottoming out and prevent punctures. Low Pressure Reinforcement Reinforcement of the overall structure, which allows riding with high lateral stability despite low air pressure. Cuttable Blocks In mixed and slushy terrain, Enduro or DH riders often have to cut/reshape their tyres to achieve more grip and greater steering precision. Tubeless Ready These tyres can also be ridden tubeless if a tubeless rim is used and the maximum inflation pressure indicated on the tyre sidewall is not exceeded. You also need an appropriate sealant and the tyre inflation pressure should be checked before every ride. E-Bike Ready (up to 25 km/h) For normal pedelecs and e-bikes with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h, the legislator does not prescribe special tyres.
