The support block of the OEM axle plate sitting in the extended slot of the left dropout replaces the long torque arm of the standard version. For non-suspension frames, the sliding Rohloff OEM dropouts or an eccentric bottom bracket can also be used. These replace the chain tensioner and the chain guide. This results in a tidy and clear appearance, as well as highly reliable functionality of the chain drive in extreme driving conditions.
